MORE ABOUT BOOKED IN SEATTLE

Our Story

Booked in Seattle is a Seattle based book club for women! After moving to Seattle in March 2023, I started this bookclub in hopes of meeting other women who were new to the area and looking to join a community. 

​

Booked in Seattle is growing with the intention of creating space for members to meet new friends and network all while reading monthly books, potentially exposing you to new authors and genres.

​

Reading has always been one of my favorite ways to spend my free time. If you're a reader too, you might have stacks of books lined up on various shelves you haven't touched yet but plan to. You might find yourself getting excited when you find out the person next to you is also reading that book you ended up staying up all night to read after telling yourself just one more chapter. If this is relatable, you should join us at our next meetup! Meetups are usually the last Saturday of every month so be sure to plan ahead!

We are an open door bookclub, so if you are interested in joining, please do! You are most welcome to pick up the book we are reading at any point during the month, read what you can, and join us at the 'End of Month meetup!'

Booked in Seattle is an open door book club. Meaning you can read/meet with us whenever works for you! Please just follow along with bookclub updates should things change (due to any unforeseen circumstances). Bring a friend with or come alone, either way, we'd love to have you.

Bookclub is FREE, of course! 
Either buy this months book at a local spot, read it online, or reserve it through Libby.

Join us any time. On the last Saturday of every month, we get together to discuss that months book! At the end of the meetup, we collectively choose books to put on a poll and vote for the following months book. Take as much or as little time as you need during that month to finish the book and join us at the End of Month Meetup to discuss (and meet new friends!).

We all have very different, busy lives. So no pressure if you can't make it to a Meetup! You're still invited to read with us, share your experience over on social media and join us again when you can! 

​

You are invited to follow us on Instagram and Facebook for updates! We will post updates on EOM (End of Month) Meetups, that months book, photos, and of course, the poll for book voting!

Bookclub End of Month Meetups are usually the last Saturday of every month at 7:00pm.

Bookclub is hosted at Local Coffee Spot in Belltown, Seattle, WA.
